Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
-William Shakespeare
I was in my paternal village this week....
and what a timing I chose to get there…alas.....the whole meaning of these
lines changed for me........47 degree Celsius temperature. no electricity and

me..... what a dreadful combination..... and to make things worse. i was
commissioned to report in the farms for setting up a new tube well in my land... at first, mere thought of staying in farms thrilled me... the scenesof bollywood flicks ran across my mind. lavish farmhouse, lots of people singing, dancing n enjoying in the fields was the thought I gathered and started
off to the place... it was just 20 odd Kilometers far from my home....i reached n found nothing but a Kuchcha room

n a cemented one... two charpaai
and 7 men ....
drilling a hole into the mother earth. so here i was supervising. n sweating it out in the terrible summers.
I stayed there for 5 days.... Nights were even more haunting as the days were… mosquitoes were
In no mood to spare the thought of drilling me for the sweet blood i carried……..
I remember the sleepless nights and to wake up in the early morning (the middle of midnight sleep)…. I was up at 5 o clock to be precise,
the time I never woke up except for my board exams,
and 7 men ....

but 1 thing I will always remember was the food ….
The food there was awesome…. It was simple but yet tasty n mouthwatering (or may be I was very hungry), anyways I really gonna miss that food for long time…
Finally fete accompli and I was relieved that I am going back home.
My father n my uncle gave me the responsibility award for the first time in my life. In other words I was always a careless, irresponsible bull… n then that moment came n I was gifted with
a new lenovo notebook…….
Oh man that was the proudest part..…..
Woooooooooohhh
At least I finally had a sigh of relief…….
No tormenting summers n no mosquitoes for next two months at home was the first thing in my mind…….
